Why I Built Cabin Cruiser

I cruise too. And for me, one of the most frustrating parts of planning was cabin selection.

I would spend too much time comparing deck plans, checking cabin locations, looking for elevators, watching for noisy areas, and wondering whether I was making the right choice.

Sometimes the process felt less like planning a vacation and more like detective work. That was the spark behind Cabin Cruiser.

The original idea was simple: make cabin selection clearer. Give cruisers better context before they choose. Help them understand the tradeoffs without forcing them to jump between deck maps, screenshots, notes, and scattered research.

But cruising is bigger than the cabin. Over time, Cabin Cruiser grew into a broader cruise companion — a place to compare cabin signals, explore sailings by travel style, save cruise history, unlock badges and quests, and discover future trips through shared interests.

To support clearer cabin comparison, we are developing CCFS℠ — Cabin Cruiser Fair Score℠, a rating and guidance system intended to combine cabin context, available data, and traveler feedback as the platform evolves.

CCFS℠ is designed to help travelers better understand cabin tradeoffs, not to guarantee a specific cabin experience. Cabin comfort can vary by ship, sailing, itinerary, conditions, data availability, and personal preference.

We call it Cabin Cruiser Intelligence: practical cruise context, built around how travelers actually choose, sail, remember, and dream about their next voyage.

Choose Better. Cruise Better.
Built by cruisers, for cruisers.

More Than a Cabin Tool

Cabin selection is the front door. Cabin Cruiser is designed to support the cruise journey before, during, and after each sailing.

Before You Sail

Compare cabins, ships, itineraries, ports, travel styles, and voyage signals with clearer context.

During the Cruise

Stay more oriented through ship awareness, port context, optional journey layers, and cruise-aware discovery.

After the Journey

Build a richer cruise history through saved sailings, memories, badges, quests, and future inspiration.

Company Heritage

Cabin Cruiser is operated by Airtists Creative and is part of a broader travel-technology vision focused on helping travelers make more informed accommodation and cruise decisions.

Accommodation Context

The original belief was simple: where you stay matters, and travelers deserve clearer information before they commit.

Cruise-Specific Intelligence

Cabin Cruiser applies that same idea to cruise ships, where cabin location, ship layout, itinerary rhythm, and personal preference can shape the experience.

Built to Evolve

As more tools, data, feedback, and cruise experiences are added, Cabin Cruiser is designed to become more useful over time.
